Meet the Team at RE/MAX Horizon Realty

Parker and Julie Moore are the owners of RE/MAX Horizon Realty. Parker and Julie were married in September 2009, but have been best friends and teammates for several years. Parker is the Broker. He has been a licensed Realtor since 2000 and became the responsible broker of ComSee Horizon Realty in 2005.  Parker was honored to serve as the Douglas Board of Realtors President in 2007 and also to named their Realtor of the Year for 2007. 

In 2009 Parker and Julie made the decision to take the office to a higher level and opted to franchise with RE/MAX International. They changed the name of the business to RE/MAX Horizon Realty. This brings the national name recognition and exposure RE/MAX provides to their current and future clients. ComSee Horizon Realty had been a major factor in the Douglas real estate market for a significant period of time and it just made sense to pair with one of the nation’s real estate leaders.

Parker specializes in Farm and Ranch real estate, but Parker and Julie also enjoy helping their clients in residential sales. He finds it rewarding to help his clients through the challenges of buying or selling their property. In his role as Broker of RE/MAX Horizon Realty, it is his responsibility and pleasure to provide support and guidance to his agents to ensure that each client of RE/MAX Horizon Realty’s is provided the best service possible. 

Together Parker and Julie have 4 children and three grandchildren. Julie’s daughter Kelly Koeppen lives in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin. Parker has three children, Jesse, Ross and Sarah. Jesse and his wife Bobbie, along with sons Tyson and Travis live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Sarah and her husband Nick also call Colorado Springs home. Ross and his wife Erin and daughter Eliza live in Cheyenne.

Stacie earned her Real Estate License in 2008 and joined RE/MAX Horizon Realty in January 2010 as Parker and Julie’s assistant.  She enjoys helping clients through buying and selling a home, and helping with any of their real estate questions.  She also enjoys working with everyone in the office, and is happy to be part of an honest and professional atmosphere.    
Raised on a small farm outside of Torrington she brings that incredible "country girl" work ethic to her job.  Stacie moved to Douglas with her husband, and they are raising two very energetic boys.  When she is not helping clients the boys keep her on her toes!

Jim Willox is a University of Wyoming graduate and an associate broker who has worked with RE/MAX Horizon since August of 2001.  A Douglas native, Jim enjoys the chance to introduce people coming to the area to his hometown.  After growing up on a ranch south of Douglas, Jim saw working in real estate as a good challenge.  “I really enjoy the unusual transactions, where we have to be creative and work outside the box to help the buyers and sellers close the transaction”, said Willox.  “Buying or selling property is a life changing event for most people. I want to help make that transaction rewarding for my clients.”

Jim is active in the community as a certified basketball official, USA Wrestling mat official, member and past officer of the Douglas Moose Lodge, treasurer of the Douglas Board of Realtors and he is in his third year as a County Commissioner. 

Jim and his wife Tione have two sons, Bo-19 and James -13.  Married and business partners for 15 years, they have just recently started working together at RE/MAX Horizon.   Jim and Tione have also teamed up as small business owners including T & J Maxi Storage, and they own and manage some commercial and residential rentals.

Tione was raised in Lander Wyoming and has been in Douglas for 17 years.  “I chose Douglas because of the friendly people I have met.  This is a great community and a wonderful place to raise my children.” 

Tione is a member of the Douglas Zonta Organization, Women of the Moose, National Association of Realtors, Wyoming Association of Realtors, and the Douglas Board of Realtors.  She has been involved in the Douglas public school system as a classroom volunteer and a substitute teacher for 13 years.  She also enjoys geo-caching, geology and collecting “cool rocks”.

Lisa Van Den Heuvel is a Sales Associate for RE/MAX Horizon Realty.  She moved to Douglas in 1980 and completed her high school years here.  Then she moved to Elko, NV for about 10 years.  In 1998, Lisa moved back to Douglas with her two young boys.  Lisa is a fantastic member of the RE/MAX Horizon Realty team, and brings an abundance of enthusiasm to the team.  Lisa received her real estate license in 2008.
Lisa became interested in Real Estate when she started working for the Converse County Assessor’s office.  She was able to look at all the houses in and around Douglas and Converse County that she had never seen before.  She enjoyed being outside, meeting new people and seeing the different landscaping ideas of the residents of Converse County. 
Lisa enjoys all the aspects of Real Estate, but assisting buyers to achieve the American Dream is the most rewarding.  Lisa also enjoys working with the sellers; she gets to know them and almost becomes part of the family through the listing process.  Lisa feels that communication is the key to a successful transaction.  She thinks that it is very important to stay in contact with all the parties involved including the lender, title company, appraiser and inspectors.
Lisa is a member of the Douglas Board of Realtors, the Wyoming Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Lisa loves living here in Douglas with her two boys, Zackery Myers who has graduated high school in May 2009 and Alex Myers who is going to be a junior and has only a year to go.

The variety of activities Becky has been involved with brings useful experience to the Real Estate field.  She has been awarded Who’s who of Outstanding American Business Women and is the owner of Bridal Elegance where she helps people plan their special occasions.
 

Originally from northern Minnesota, she relocated to Douglas and married Randy a third generation rancher. They worked and enjoyed the ranching lifestyle while raising their two children. Jessica is currently in Phoenix working on an additional degree and Sean is at The Ohio State University.  Although the kids were not active in 4-H, Becky chose to be a leader at the local level and judge at the state level.

She was associated and employed with CCSD#1 for 11 years as a volunteer sewing teacher in the rural schools; assisting with drama, choir and various student groups; a substitute in our schools in addition to being an administrative assistant in the activities/athletic office.

When she is not coaching softball or attending softball tournaments she enjoys summer and the things you can do outside!

Susan resides on the Gray Ranch in Orin. She grew up in Florida; spending a few years in Idaho before moving to Wyoming in 1992. She is married to Bart Gray and has been blessed with three lovely children Tim, Kacy Jo and Will James “OW”. 
Susan loves to bake, she will jokingly tell you that she is the official bread baker and pie maker at the ranch.  She and her daughter love to sing and get together often with friends to sing and play music. She enjoys playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Amanda is the face you see when you walk into RE/MAX Horizon Realty. She is the one who takes care of the phone calls and helps the agents and broker with a number of tasks. Amanda is a native of Douglas and lives here with her husband Patrick whom she married May of 2009.
